At AMADAY we work so that women raising children in, or at risk of, vulnerable situations can find support, resources and opportunities to build their autonomy. We pay special attention to those raising children alone, with little support network, or facing economic and work–life balance difficulties.

Caring needs support too
Sustaining care, making ends meet and finding time to work or study can be especially hard without a close support network.
We want to help ensure these difficulties do not limit women's opportunities or the wellbeing of their sons and daughters. Listening, guiding and bringing together support are part of that path.
Who we are
A welcoming association committed to people
AMADAY was founded in Lanzarote in 2024 to bring together support and open up opportunities. Our work combines personal support, guidance towards resources, awareness-raising and community participation.
Equality, dignity and inclusion guide our aims. Today we place support during child-rearing at the centre of our communication and of the development of M.A.D.R.E., our main programme.

M.A.D.R.E. Project
Más Apoyo, Dignidad, Recursos y Estabilidad (More Support, Dignity, Resources and Stability) for women raising children.
M.A.D.R.E. was created to support women raising children who are in, or at risk of, vulnerable situations, especially when they are raising children alone, have little support network or face economic and work–life balance difficulties.
It is AMADAY's main programme. We start from experiences of accompaniment and one-off support, and we are shaping a structured programme that connects child-rearing, autonomy and children's wellbeing.

How we work
Listening, guiding and bringing together support
Support and listening
We listen to each situation with respect and consider possible next steps with you, according to our capacity.
Guidance towards resources
We provide information and, where possible, contact with existing social and community resources.
Education and autonomy
We want to promote learning and development opportunities compatible with caring. New proposals will take shape according to needs, resources and available collaborations.
Community and cooperation
We encourage the participation of people, professionals and organisations to pool capabilities around the association's aims.

We introduced AMADAY and M.A.D.R.E. at a meeting space with the business community.

We promoted a series of six talks on health and lifestyle habits at the Real Casino Club Náutico.

We took part to share AMADAY's purpose and gather interest from people who wanted to collaborate.
